SassodiSole 2007 Riserva (Brunello di Montalcino)

Generous, with tertiary aromas of cured meat, leather and tobacco, this is a spicy and savory Brunello riserva that offers more in terms of black pepper, crushed mineral, licorice and prune than it does fresh berry fruit. But that's not a problem whatsoever because those beautifully aged flavors give the wine a sophisticated twist.
