Panther Creek 1998 Freedom Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Tree bark and pine needles mark the aromas, adding woodsy complexity and weight to ripe black cherries. Full and somewhat backward, this needs a few years to sort itself out and fully express its generous nature, but you can sense the future now in its power and velvety texture.
