Real Compañia de Vinos 2011 Garnacha (Spain)

This is dark but somewhat green on the nose, with currant, raspberry, beet and green herb aromas. The palate feels tight to the point of abrasive, with herbal plum flavors. A minty, forceful finish registers as hard and tannic.
