Gill's Pier 2012 Cabernet Franc-Merlot (Leelanau Peninsula)

Nicely concentrated aromas of black currants meet tobacco, bell pepper and pencil lead on the nose. There's great verve and tenison on the medium-bodied palate, with tart blackberries against a backdrop of graphite and cocoa dust.
