Symington Family Estates 2011 Altano Quinta do Ataíde Reserva Red (Douro)

Still quite closed up, this is going to be a rich wine with great structure. For now, polished wood and stalky red fruits are filled out with fine tannins and a dry, tough core. It's a wine for aging, needing to soften. Drink from 2017.
