La Follette 2013 Lorenzo Vineyard Chardonnay (Russian River Valley)

This is a generously concentrated and yet balanced wine, big in oak presence and structure that mellows in the glass. Lemon verbena and ginger appoint themselves in charge, their minions a mix of salted seaweed and Asian pear.
