South Stage 2012 Petite Sirah (Rogue Valley)

Almost jet black, this is a tough chewy wine with just enough blackberry fruit to punch through the tannins. Aging does not seem to have worked in its favor, so best to drink soon, aerate aggressively and pair it with a juicy burger.
