This atypical Chilean red hails from the Maule Valley and eschews oak and ripeness and instead delivers wiry raspberry, currant and dried-earth aromas in front of a high-acid, racy palate that's medium in body. Snappy, spicy red plum and raspberry flavors are fresh and edgy, with scraping acidity creating a zesty, scrubbing finish. Drink through 2020.
