With an addition of 3% Petit Verdot, this wine sources from Andy Beckstoffer's Missouri Hopper Vineyard in Oakville and Benessere in St. Helena. It impresses in brown sugar and berry pie, the underlying foundation succulently fruity as savory touches of clove and pencil shavings begin to show amidst the firm tannin.
