Morro View Winery 2013 Speizer Family Vineyard Grenache Blanc (Edna Valley)

Coming from the former owner of Domaine Alfred (now Chamisal Vineyards) this lip-smacking wine starts with a yeasty, Granny Smith apple nose. The flavors are tightly acidic yet plush at the same time: bitter apple skins mixing up with ripe pluots.
