Friedrich Becker 2012 B Pinot Noir (Pfalz)

Crisp blackberry and raspberry flavors shine brightly against a sultry backdrop of smoke, vanilla and spice in this luscious, full-bodied Pinot Noir. It's rich and rounded on the palate, but framed smartly by bitter edges of dried herb and fine tannins. It's a sensual wine, but taut and stately, likely to improve further through 2024.
