Raymond 2012 Small Lot Collection Barrel-Fermented Chardonnay (Napa Valley)

Way too oaky, with buttered toast, honey and caramel flavors dominating. The underlying wine, which is crisp in acidity and suggests limes, peaches and apricots, just isn't strong enough to handle all that oak.
