Chatom Vineyards 2013 Semillon (Calaveras County)

A smoky, well-toasted bread aroma carries through in the flavors, giving a black pepper counterpoint to the ripe and easy apple and almond notes. A creamy texture helps carry and blend those complex traits from the first sip to the lingering finish. It should improve through 2018.
