Paul Anheuser 2012 Kreuznacher Kahlenberg Spätlese Riesling (Nahe)

While fairly neutral on the nose with subtle aromas of apple and lemon, this off-dry Riesling is lush and fruity on the palate with flavors of white grapefruit and quince jelly. It's straightforward, but finishes elegantly with a reverberating tea-leaf astringency.
