Pagos del Moncayo 2011 PdM Moncayo Syrah (Campo de Borja)

This Syrah is big, rubbery and heavily charred on the nose, with iodine and minerally notes kicking in. The palate is deep but not too heavy, with juicy acidity. Flavors of plum, berry, chocolate and spice finish toasty, with licorice and espresso notes. Drink now through 2018.
