Château Potelle 2009 Explorer The Illegitimate Red (Napa Valley)

Blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel and Syrah, this is a complex wine. Very dry and marked by young, aggressive tannins, it strikes you as dramatic, offering waves of fruit, mineral, spice and oak flavors that carry onto the long, sweet finish. With its tannins, give it until 2015.
