Leyda 2011 Single Vineyard Falaris Hill Vineyard Reserva Especial Chardonnay (Leyda Valley)

One sniff indicates there's a fair amount of oak on this Chardonnay, plus baked apple and peach scents. The palate offers acidic rip and lemony cut, but it's not too sharp. Tangy flavors of lemon and citrus are wrapped in resiny oak, and the finish is textured and long.
