Keenan 2011 35th Anniversary Reserve Mailbox Vineyard Merlot (Spring Mountain District)

From estate-grown grapes, this opens with sizable, grippy tannins and strong barrel-heavy aromas. It then settles down into layers of blackberry and blueberry, sprinkled with a hint of cinnamon. This wine will benefit from a decant or a few more years in bottle.
