Peju 2009 Zinfandel (Napa Valley)

While the alcohol on this Zin is very high, it's an outstanding example of its style, and easily Peju's most delicious Zinfandel ever. Nearly 20% of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot in the blend contribute to a nobility of structure and firm tannins, but the briary, brambly fruit and spiciness are all Zin. Decadent to drink now with short ribs.
