Peregrine 2014 Sauvignon Blanc (Central Otago)

Few wineries in Central Otago devote much time or energy to Sauvignon Blanc, so it's nice to try one on occasion. This is pungent and boxwood-like on the nose, but the flavors are less aggressive, more white grapefruit and celery stalk. There's ample weight and a crisp, refreshing finish.
