Waterbrook 2009 Reserve Merlot (Columbia Valley (WA))

This is a bit lighter than the previous vintage, offering tart red-berry fruit, accented with a note of fresh herb. The chocolaty barrel accents smooth out the midpalate and lead into a pleasant finish.
