Quinta de Lemos 2007 Jaen (Dão)

Known in Spain as Mencia and found in Galicia, here in Portugal it forms a part of the mix in the mountainous Dão. It is red fruit flavors that are sustained by tannins. Despite its nine years of age, it is still firmly structured, still packed with fine fruit. It is only just now ready to drink.
