Hermann J. Wiemer 2008 Dry Riesling (Finger Lakes)

Intense and bright with a wonderfully complex nose of slate and stones, combined with elegantly subdued florals. It's dry, but there's a whisper of lemon drop sweetness throughout. Beautifully balanced with an intensely mineral, steely finish.
