An ambitious wine that explores new blending territory. Shows fine structure, with brisk acidity and smooth tannins framing ripe cherry fruit, bacon and sandalwood flavors. Lacks a certain finesse, but definitely a worthwhile venture by the winery, and a wine to watch.
