Valdivieso 2005 Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon (Central Valley)

Good but limited Cabernet that opens with equal amounts of dark fruit, fine rubber and settled oak. The palate is meaty and thick, with plodding tannins giving support to black plum and berry flavors. Finishes a little short and roasted and without much juiciness. Best to drink soon.
