Château de Malleret 2012 Haut-Médoc

This 1,000-acre estate with 140 acres of vines is close to Bordeaux and still family owned. With bitter chocolate flavor lying over the fruit, this needs some aging before it can properly integrate. Dark tannins and spice show at the end, along with juicy black-currant fruit. Drink from 2018.
