Soléna 2015 Hyland Vineyard Pinot Noir (McMinnville)

This vineyard, and the AVA it occupies, is often characterized by some sharp metallic mineral-driven flavors. Here it seems just marginally ripe, with beet, black tea and metal dominating the astringent finish.
