Santa Alicia 2009 Reserva Merlot (Maipo Valley)

Starts out with mildly herbal, salad-dressing aromas, but the palate is fairly full and creamy, with soft tomato, spice and generic berry flavors. Fresh due to adequate acidity, but tastes a little herbal and sharp all the way through. Good enough for the price.
