Kessler-Haak 2010 Kessler-Haak Vineyard Pommard Clone Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Give this dry, elegant Pinot a couple of years to let all the parts knit together. Right now, the oak stands out, and the acidity seems out of balance with the rich raspberry and persimmon fruit. It's a remarkably complex wine, however, and should be even better by 2016.
