Fess Parker 2011 Sierra Madre Vineyard Chardonnay (Santa Barbara County)

With all of the buttered toast, buttered popcorn and butterscotch flavors, this Chardonnay's fruit isn't allowed to speak. It has brisk acidity and rich tangerine and mango flavors, but the winemaker's hand feels heavy.
