Westerly 2014 Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

A heartier and meatier take on Pinot Noir, this bottling shows black plums, hoisin, hickory smoke and pepper on the nose. The palate is also rich with plum sauce and strong fennel flavors, showing oak smoke as well. Quite tasty overall for those seeking some heft.
