Trione 2010 River Road Ranch Syrah (Russian River Valley)

Made using techniques employed in crafting Pinot Noir, this wine has 5% Viognier blended in. It conveys a rustic sense of leather and black pepper, with waves of high-toned cherry, plum and brooding blueberry that combine in flavor. Its concentrated structure is lifted by a lilt of acidity on the finish.
