If there is a better vineyard than Boushey in Washington for Syrah, it has not yet been discovered. This young wine tastes like younger vines, with more green and less meat in the flavors. But the complexity and depth of Boushey fruit is there, and the wine takes you on a ride through a mélange of intriguing herb, fruit, cured meat and barrel flavors.
